Since the beginning of the creation of the Technical Committee for Standardization, TK TM 08 «Automatic Identification and Data Collection», fifteen meetings have been held. At which seventeen national standards developed on the basis of international ISO / IEC standards were reviewed and agreed. These standards are approved and entered into the State Register of Turkmenistan.
In the framework of cooperation with the IGU (Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification), where Turkmenistan is a full member, represented by the authorized body - the Main State Service «Turkmenstandartlary» - the link between MTK 517 (Interstate Technical Committee) «Automatic identification and collection technologies data» and ТK ТМ 08 (technical committee on standardization) «Automatic identification and data collection», five draft interstate standards were reviewed and agreed Comrade - GOST.
The technical committee of TK TM 08 drafted and submitted for approval to the Main State Service «Turkmenstandartlary» a standardization plan for 2020, consisting of four standards, one of which is the national standard TDS-ISO / IEC 15416: 2000 (E) «Information technologies. Methods of automatic identification and data collection. Bar code print quality test specification. Linear symbols» is subject to revision according to ISO / IEC 15416: 2016 (E) and is one of the main standards in the field of GS1 Turkmenistan activities. In parallel with the implementation of the plan for the current year, a volumetric draft of the national standard is being prepared on the basis of the international standard ISO / IEC 19762: 2016 and the interstate standard GOST ISO / IEC 19762 «Information Technologies. Technologies of automatic identification and data collection (AISD). Harmonized Dictionary», which is planned to be included in the plan for standardization of the technical committee of TK ТМ 08 for 2021.
In February 2020, three additional international standards for two-dimensional bar codes were introduced into the plan for standardization of the technical committee of TK TM 08 for development: QR Code - ISO / IEC 18004: 2015 «Information technologies. Technologies for automatic identification and data collection. QR Code bar code symbology specification», Data Matrix - ISO / IEC 16022: 2006 «Automatic identification. Symbology specification Data Matrix» and ISO / IEC 15415: 2011 «Information technology. Technologies for automatic identification and data collection. Specification for bar code print quality testing. Two-dimensional symbols», which will be considered before the end of this year.
